It’s impossible to talk about Íñigo Quintero without mentioning the phenomenon that was “Si no estás,” a song that climbed to number one on Spotify’s global chart after taking TikTok by storm, racking up more than 1.5 billion streams. On November 6, the singer-songwriter from A Coruña will perform at the Palau Alameda in Valencia to present his debut album: tickets are now on sale.
From Virality to *El Sitio de Siempre*
Far from letting himself be swept away by the momentum of quick and fleeting success, Íñigo Quintero decided to take refuge at the piano and lay the groundwork for a lasting and authentic musical career. Thus, his first EP, *Es Solo Música*, was a labor of love, a project that now culminates in his first full-length album: *El Sitio de Siempre*.
On this debut album, Quintero brings together eleven songs, all centered on the need to put down roots and find a space of one’s own—whether physical or emotional. The lyrics delve into the decisions that shape our path, expectations, memories, and goodbyes…
At his concert in Valencia, he’ll perform tracks he’s been previewing over the past year, such as “Bajo control,” “Despedida,” and his recent collaboration with Besmaya, “El tiempo que paso contigo.” All the new songs will be interspersed with the early hits that solidified his fan base, such as “Sobredosis” and “Lo que queda de mí.”
