Russia attacked the port infrastructure of the Odesa region, damaging a civilian vessel flying the Palau flag

At night, russia again attacked the port infrastructure of Odesa region. Damage to a civilian vessel flying the flag of Palau, which was in the port for loading, has been recorded. This was reported by the Vice Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine – Minister of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine, UNN reports.

According to Kuleba, as a result of the attack, port and logistics infrastructure facilities, warehouse premises, technical equipment, cargo storage tanks, administrative buildings, as well as freight transport were damaged.

Damage to a civilian vessel under the flag of Palau, which was in the port for loading, has been recorded. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties among the crew members. Fire brigades and all relevant services are working at the scene 

– added the vice prime minister.

He emphasized that russia continues to deliberately target civilian infrastructure that ensures the economy’s operation, exports, and global food security.

As reported by the head of Odesa OVA Oleg Kiper, as a result of the enemy attack on civilian and port infrastructure, one person was injured.

At night, the enemy terrorized Odeshchyna again with strike drones. Civilian and port infrastructure was damaged. Unfortunately, one person was injured and is being provided with all necessary assistance 

– reported Kiper.

He added that as a result of the strike on the port territory, technological equipment, oil tanks, and freight transport were damaged. Fires broke out, which were promptly extinguished by rescuers. In the residential sector, windows were broken in a five-story building and a passenger car was damaged. An industrial infrastructure facility was also damaged. 

All relevant services are working at the scenes of the events. Elimination and documentation of the consequences continue
