There were moments of fear yesterday in the sea off Porto Pollo, Palau. A catamaran caught fire , and after the alarm was raised, a joint rescue operation by the Coast Guard and the Fire Department was required.
A naval vessel and a firefighting helicopter participated in the firefighting operations, coordinated by the Coast Guard. The vessel’s sole occupant was unharmed.
