Much has already been said about Maika Makovski, and much more will be said. But one thing is clear: no artistic style can resist her. A free and multidisciplinary artist, Maika has spent two decades exploring the territories where rock, poetry, and emotion blend into a single sonic landscape.
Since she burst onto the scene at barely twenty years old, she has never stopped reinventing herself with each album: eight records behind her and a journey that never rests. Now, as we celebrate twenty years since the release of her first album ‘Kradiaw‘, she invites us to a special concert — a unique performance that will also be recorded live. On Wednesday, March 4th, we’ll experience something truly one-of-a-kind at the Palau de la Música Catalana!
Maika will reunite her first band: JC Luque (bass), David Martínez (drums), and Bobbi Relac (guitar), after many years and countless memories of their first experiences on the road. The stage will also welcome great musicians such as Anni B Sweet, Howe Gelb, and Los Zigarros, who eagerly joined this event, as well as bands that have accompanied her throughout the years like Brossa Quartet and The Mani-Las.
Friends and travel companions such as Paul Fuster, Niña Coyote eta Chico Tornado, Cabezafuego, and Mohama Saz will also be there. A unique show that will celebrate her own musical multilingualism. On March 4th, Maika Makovski will turn the Palau de la Música Catalana into a journey through her art in all its forms, as part of Cruïlla Hivern 2026!
