Flooding spreads across three divisions – FBC News

Naqali Flats on Serea Road in Sawani is among the flood-affected areas as heavy rain continues to disrupt roads and crossings across the Central Division.

Several low-lying routes remain underwater, cutting access for motorists and nearby communities. Key corridors between rural areas and Nausori continue to be affected.

In Rewa, Waiviota Crossing on Nabukaluka Delailasakau Road is flooded. Wainavida Crossing on Lutu Vuisiga Road is also impassable. Waisa Crossing on Navulokani Road has been cut off.

Waila Crossing on Nataveya Road and Waidradra Crossing on Vatulili Road remain underwater. Gutugutubuli Crossing on Viria Road is also inaccessible.

In Korovou, Nakorovou Crossing, Wairua Crossing, Colata Cocoa Crossing, and Nawiwaivusa Crossing are all affected. Waima Crossing on Nairukuruku Road is also flooded. Old Toga Bridge in Nausori remains closed.

In the Western Division, Barotu Road in Rakiraki is impassable. Motorists are being urged to avoid the area.

In the Northern Division, Qawa Low Level Crossing on Boubale Road in Bulileka, Labasa, is flooded. Bucalevu Low Level Crossing on Bucalevu Road in Savusavu is also affected.

Bagata Low Level Crossing on Vunivesi Road in Wailevu is underwater. Naqumu Low Level Crossing in Seaqaqa is also cut off. Nabunicibi Splash Crossing in Vaturamulo, Savusavu remains impassable.

Drawa Crossing in Natua is flooded. Nabunicibi Crossing on Vaturova Road in Cakaudrove is also affected.

Authorities are urging all motorists to exercise caution. Road users are advised to avoid flooded crossings and follow safety instructions as wet weather continues
