Victory in the Palau Blaugrana for the Barça basketball team as they dispatched San Pablo Burgos 91-76 in the ACB league thanks to an excellent first half performance. Punter, Núñez and Fall all played their part in the win for Xavi Pascual’s team.
Barça began brightly with an 11-6 lead over San Pablo after just 4 minutes. Willy Hernangómez lifted the lead with to 16 points at 29-13 before the visitors pulled it back at 29-15 at the end of the first quarter.

The visitors cut back the deficit at the start of the second quarter but Fall, Núñez and Shengelia’s efforts saw Barça surge into a 20 point lead at one stage before taking a 55-35 lead into the second half.
In the second half the blaugranes maintained their advantage in comfortable fashion, even lifting it to 66-42 at one point thanks to a three pointer from Brizuela. The fourth quarter saw the blaugranes manage their lead perfectly to take a 91-76 win to record their 21st win of the campaign to draw level with UCAM Murcia and Valencia in the table, second and third respectively.
