Singapore’s non-governmental group, the Singapore Surroundings Council (SEC) has appointed a senior govt from the federal government’s Ministry of Surroundings as its new govt director.
Efficient November 1, Hazari Hassan joins the SEC from the Ministry of Sustainability and Surroundings (MEWR), the place he served as Divisional Director (Worldwide Coverage), and represented Singapore as Everlasting Consultant to the United Nations Surroundings Programme.
In a press assertion, the SEC mentioned Hassan was “a perfect candidate for management.” SEC Enhancing environmental sustainability and enabling inexperienced development in a brand new period of growth.
He replaces Jin Teo who left the NGO in June. Interim, the position was overseen by Deputy Govt Director, Guo Wei Hong.
