Following his acclaimed performance last year, the Romanian composer and pianist Andrei Irimia returns to the iconic Petit Palau in Barcelona with an enriched vision of his project Lights & Shadows.

Renowned for painting vivid emotional landscapes with his unmistakable sonic signature, Andrei creates music that exists between two worlds, moving effortlessly from the most fragile intimacy to an immersive cinematic scale. Beyond the traditional boundaries of neoclassicism, his work is defined by a sophisticated blend of minimalist piano, melancholic strings, and subtle digital accents. His compositions unfold with meticulous textural layering and a cinematic depth with a noir aesthetic, creating soundscapes that are as timeless as they are evocative.

At the piano, Andrei Irimia performs with a hypnotic intensity and a vulnerability that transforms each note into an emotional confession. His current project explores an uneasy atmospheric tension, both visceral and refined, ideal for audiences who appreciate the more immersive side of modern composition. Accompanied by violinist Razvan Paun and cellist Thibault Solorzano, he brings to life sonic architectures that blur the line between concert and contemplation, creating an atmosphere that feels less like a performance and more like a shared moment of reflection.

Immerse yourself in a captivating evening that explores the beauty born from the kaleidoscope of emotions: a journey of pure sonic beauty that will resonate long after the final note fades into silence.
