The Palau de la Música Catalana opens its doors once again to bring this treasure of Catalan Modernism closer to all citizens. A day to immerse yourself in a unique space in the world, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where light, music and architecture have been in dialogue for over a century.
Every year, coinciding with the feast of Saint Cecilia, patron saint of music, the Palau invites everyone to rediscover its beauty and spirit. For five hours, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and following a set route, visitors can explore some of its most iconic spaces and experience up close the magic of this modernist temple, which remains a living symbol of the country’s cultural life.
All contributions collected during the day (minimum donation of €1) will go entirely to the social project Palau Vincles, which promotes inclusion and social cohesion through choral singing among children and young people. Palau Vincles offers free choral training to over 600 children and young people from vulnerable areas or situations, based on the belief that music and collective practice have great personal and social transformative power. Your visit, therefore, also helps music reach further.
