The Barça futsal team overcame Noia in the Palau Blaugrana, a 5-2 win sealed with goals from Matheus, Pito, Catela, Erick and João Víctor. The victory was a fifth in a row for Javi Rodríguez’s rejuvenated team.
Bright start
Barça took control right from the start in the Palau, setting the tone for the rest of the game. Matheus put the blaugranes ahead on just three minutes with a shot from outside the box.
Pito added a second after pouncing on a loose ball and Catela made it 3-0 with just over 10 minutes of the game gone. In control, Barça had chances to add to their lead before Biel pulled one back for Noia.
Securing the win
3-1 up at half time, Barça added to their advantage when Erick rounded an excellent team move to make it 4-1. The pressure from Javi Rodríguez’s team stifled Noia and João Víctor’s strike put the result beyond doubt for the blaugranes. Ismael grabbed a late consolation for the visitors but the home side held on comfortably to maintain their excellent recent form.
