Mediterranean Spirit, Pacific Soul: Four Seasons Explorer Palau Unveils New Waterfront Hub, M-Dock in Koror

Four Seasons Explorer Palau unveils M-Dock, a new waterfront restaurant, bar and lounge where Mediterranean flavours meet Pacific pace. Set at Four Seasons Explorer’s home port marina in Koror, M-Dock pairs cocktails, fresh seafood and handmade pastas with lagoon views and laid-back waterfront evenings.

The opening brings Four Seasons Explorer’s Palau story ashore, extending the 39-metre (128-foot) catamaran’s seafaring luxury into a relaxed social hub with a character of its own.

A destination in its own right, M-Dock also welcomes Four Seasons guests at the beginning and end of their Explorer voyage. Open to locals and visitors alike, it is a place to compare the day’s discoveries, share a table or simply let dinner turn into an evening of great food, wide-ranging drinks, and DJ beats by the lagoon.

Bold Flavours, Island Style

M-Dock’s menu brings a fresh perspective to Mediterranean favourites through Palau’s seafood and island produce. Think daily wild-caught ceviche, Pacific tuna crudo, handmade pastas featuring organic Koror-laid eggs, local lobster and vongole, plus herbs and microgreens grown by the M-Dock team.

The same spirit runs through the drinks menus: classics twisted, Palau shaken in and Italy poured generously. Cocktails range from zero- to full-proof, with calamansi, coconut and tropical fruit giving familiar favourites a local accent. A wine list made for lingering rewards exploration, while nightly DJs provide the soundtrack as night falls over the marina.

Indoors or out, locally crafted glassware, plates and accessories by Belau Eco Glass bring a little Palau to the table. With the team’s two transfer boats coming home to familiar shores each evening, M-Dock is an easy place to lose track of time, from a morning coffee to a full evening out.

Open daily from 10:00 am for drinks and specialty coffees, with The Golden Pour from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm and dinner from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm, M-Dock brings something new to Palau’s day-to-night scene while honouring the easy rhythm of island life.

Pristine Palau

Home to one of the world’s richest marine ecosystems and thousands of years of living culture, Palau’s magic extends both above and below the surface. Divers can explore legendary dive sites, thriving coral reefs and historic shipwrecks. From kayaking through mangrove forests to discovering ancient cultural landmarks and hidden beaches, the Palau archipelago reveals both extraordinary natural beauty and intriguing heritage.

A Cruising Resort

Designed for 22 guests, Four Seasons Explorer Palau combines the comfort of a luxury resort with the freedom of life at sea. Its 10 staterooms and one Explorer Suite create an intimate base for discovery. Guests share a restaurant, bar, library, lounge, spa corner and onboard PADI Five-Star Dive Centre, with tailor-made experiences ranging from castaway beach picnics to locally inspired wellness rituals.

Expert local guides share the places that make Palau special, with an approach designed to honour the waters, culture and traditions of its islands and people. Daily embarkation and disembarkation, with speedboat transfers between M-Dock and Explorer and no minimum stay, allow guests to shape their voyage around their own schedules.

How To Get There

Palau is accessible via regular direct flights from Taipei, Tokyo, Brisbane, Manila, and Guam; as well as direct charter flights from Hong Kong and Macau.
